There's a sniper in the jungle?!Boy, who expected Karl and Danielle to get shot?! I thought that Smokey was going to grab one of them, I did not expect the Lone Gunman to strike on the grassy knoll where they were taking a water break. Well, I guess that I can live without Karl even though I liked him, and he and Alex were cute together. But I don't want to say good-bye to Danielle if TPTB have killed her off! Hopefully, the Island will decide that she "has work to do", and will heal her up quickly. Wow, I really thought that Ben had sent them to be safe. Did he have them killed? Did someone from the Freighter Four kill them? Or...maybe it's someone that we haven't met yet? :-)

At first I thought it was poisonous darts, but after watching it again I think it was gunshots with a silencer.
which makes me say "Huh?"
Why use a silencer? So Danielle can't hear where the shots were coming from and fire back?
I also hope Danielle isn't dead. Karl I can deal with, but not Danielle!
I thought it was going to be Smokey too Capcom. Odd that Karl, the doofus of the show, was the one that sensed it first. I guess bathing has made Danielle soft.

That's what puzzled me too. Danielle's radar seemed to be off. She shouldn't have gotten up to run when she did - it seemed like bad timing even before she got shot.
Good points everyone! It is strange how TPTB made Danielle's Spidey Sense not work. I was wondering if Karl has any ESP, or if he was just getting that feeling that you get when someone is watching you. If he's "special", maybe he won't die. But if it's him ar Danielle surviving, I vote for Danielle.
