"Shut Out At Emmys"
Flame on: You know, it's not as if there are no other creative and talented shows such as Lost on TV that deserve to be recognized, because there are. And it's not as if good entertainment can't have morals, warnings, and messages, as the memorable Twilight Zone series certainly did for example, because they can. But maybe some day the political elitists in Hollyweird will realize that there is more to entertainment than pushing their own propaganda, and that a lot of the people in the flyover states actually enjoy pure entertainment because it is just that...entertainment, not politics. Until then, they'll just keep giving themselves all the awards, and we'll keep watching the shows that they don't want us to watch for fun. 'Nuff said. :-p And this is as close to making political commentary as I'll ever get here on this Lost blog again, I promise. Flame out.

Agreed.
Not only was the entire show and Emerson robbed, there weren't even any nominations for the stellar writing staff who fueled Season 4.
Sigh.
At least Mad Men won something, and it has no noticable agenda.
Hi Capcom,
It's too bad Michael Emerson was snubbed, and I agree with Jo about the writing - that was a great season, and better than anything else on network tv.
Hi PGT! Yes, the writing, music (do they give Emmys for music?), so many things about Lost are uniquely great.
Hey,
this isn't related to the emmy's, but I just saw MC Gainey on the Young and the Restless today. Not that I would ever watch that smut, but it's fun to keep on when I clean the comode LOL :)
Ha! No kidding?! Wow, I hope that it pays as much as Lost does, or it's a step down for him. I have to admit that since I retired, I've gotten back into watching my old soaps again. I wish that Ryan's Hope was still on, I really liked that one the best. :-o
I remember that one! Actually, I do kind of keep up with TYATR, but you can miss a whole year, and still be up to date. Mr. Friendly has is old beard back, and is playing a hippie. What a stretch for his acting abilities :)
LOL!
Hello again Capcom,
I just wanted to let you know I started a Lost blog if you would like to visit. It's www.pgtbeauregard.blogspot.com.
It seems like a long time until the new season starts, but it's fun to theorize!!
Excellent! I need someone to push me into thinking again, I've gone all numb about Lost lately.
LOST was robbed of a Best Drama Emmy? I don't think so. I've seen Season One of MAD MEN. LOST had a pretty decent Season 4, but it was NO WHERE as good Season One of MAD MEN. The best show won.
