"When Worlds Collide"

In the last episode of Season 4, we were shown an alive Locke and a dead Locke. Pierre Cheng's frantic video led us to think that due to Kerr's time-shell theories, there could be two realities "existing" at the same "time", meaning that there could be two Lockes co-existing, i.e., an alive one and a dead one. This got me wondering about how Ben told Jack that they have to take "him" -- Locke -- back to the island with them. Does this mean that the alive and dead Lockes will come together and inhabit the same time and space like matter and anti-matter? Will the two separate time-shells converge into one colossal astronomical event? Is there an island in each of these time-shells? If so, will they converge in some kind of atomic collision? So far I'm still looking forward to finding out, although I must admit that my patience in waiting for this story to start to gel is getting about as thin as our patience for "The Project", if you know what I mean. Hopefully I can hang in there. :-o

Hey, wow, thanks again Locos! :-}

Well, I figure (so far for what we've seen) that there would be only two Lockes, since there's the one left behind that's alive, and the one in the "future" that's dead. Although, that's not necessarily true, it all depends if Locke jumped time to chase the O-6, or if he just left the island in a regular way. If he left normally, I guess that there's only one dead one.

But with the time-shell thing, it would be pretty cool if there were two Lockes....oh Lordy, can the world take two Lockes?! :-D

As long as it follows that there are two Sawyers, two Jacks, and two Desmonds, the world should stay in balance nicely. . .

Don't know if the world could handle two Bens either.

True. I wonder if there are two Coopers too, that would make me happy because then the wanton killing of him would not have been so bad. That still bothers me. :-p

I'm also wondering if we'll get a "Prestige" double-maker-machine like we were discussing before at TLC.

I'm sure Sawyer and Jack would be happy with finding out there were two Kates. Then they could just each have one and we could be triangle-free.

Happy belated birthday. I haven't been following the Octagon RPG, whats up with that? You know my theory that Locke is really alive in that coffin, but what would it do to YOUR theory if, when they do go back to the Island, its not in October 2005 or April 2007. What then? Can they course-correct anything at all or have they started a butterfly effect by leaving in the first place? Two Faradays would be cool though.
